These terms are the agreement between you and us for using Hirdfit — the mobile app, the web app
at hirdfit.com, and the API. You accept them by ticking the box when you create your
account. How we handle your data is covered separately in the
Privacy Policy.
Read this first
Hirdfit is not a medical service. Nothing in the app — including anything the AI coach tells you — is medical advice. See section 7.
1. What Hirdfit is
Hirdfit lets you plan running routes, keep workouts from several sources in one place, track body measurements, and — optionally, and for a fee — ask an AI coach about your training. Some parts of the service depend on third parties (Hevy, Strava, Health Connect, Apple Health, MapTiler, OpenRouteService, Stripe, Anthropic). We do not control those services and cannot guarantee they stay available.
Hirdfit is offered as it is. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Hirdfit, and you confirm that when you create your account.
- You need an account. Keep your login details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- We may ask you to confirm your email address before the app unlocks, by opening a link we send you. If you registered with an address you cannot reach, you can still export your data and delete the account from that screen.
- Give accurate information. Your training data is only as useful as it is honest.
- Hirdfit is currently in a limited testing period. New accounts must be approved by us before they can use the app, and we may decline or withdraw approval. If you have paid for coach credits and we withdraw your access without cause, we will refund the unused balance.
3. Acceptable use
Do not:
- upload data you have no right to, or use someone else's account;
- try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service;
- use the AI coach to generate unlawful, abusive or harmful content;
- resell or redistribute access to the service or to the AI coach.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
4. AI coach credits
The AI coach runs on a prepaid balance of credits. Credits are a unit of account inside Hirdfit — they are not money, not a payment instrument, and not transferable.
Packages
| Package | Credits | Price (USD) | Price (PLN) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 300 | USD 2.99 | 11,99 zł |
| Standard | 800 | USD 6.99 | 26,99 zł |
| Bulk | 1500 | USD 14.99 | 56,99 zł |
These are introductory prices, available until further notice. They are not a discount against any earlier price — we have never charged more — and we may end them at any time. Ending them never changes the price of credits you have already bought.
Website purchases are charged in złoty for buyers in Poland and in US dollars everywhere else. The currency is chosen automatically from your device; the amount charged is always the one shown before you confirm.
Each credit purchase is a one-off payment, not a subscription — buying a credit package never sets up anything recurring. (Hirdfit Premium, described in section 5, is a separate auto-renewing subscription.) Credits appear in your balance within a few seconds of a successful payment. How you pay, and who you pay, depends on where you buy:
- On the website, payment is taken by Stripe on their own checkout page, at the prices in the table above, including any tax where applicable.
- In the Android app, the purchase goes through Google Play, which is the seller of record. Google sets the price in your local currency for your country's store, so the amount you are charged will differ from the table above, and it is the price shown in the app at the moment of purchase that applies. The credits you receive are the same.
How a reply is charged
- Nominally, one credit is worth USD 0.01, and that is the rate every reply is charged at. The dollar packages above are priced at or below it; the złoty packages are round local price points set close to the same rate, so what a credit costs you in złoty moves slightly with the exchange rate.
- Each reply is charged from the actual amount of processing it used, rounded up, with a minimum of one credit per reply. Longer questions, longer answers and more data lookups cost more.
- You need a balance of at least 10 credits to start a new message.
- A reply is charged even if it is cut short or declined. If the coach runs out of room mid-answer, declines a question as out of scope, or fails partway, the processing has already happened and is billed.
- Because a reply is only priced once it is finished, a balance can end very slightly below zero on the final message. We do not chase that; it is absorbed on our side.
Expiry, refunds and withdrawal
- Credits do not expire while your account is open.
- Credits cannot be exchanged for cash and have no value outside Hirdfit.
- Your EU right of withdrawal. As a consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Credits are digital content supplied immediately: by completing a purchase you ask us to start supplying it at once and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once you begin using the credits. If you have not used any credits from a purchase, you may withdraw within 14 days and we will refund it in full — just email us.
- Beyond that, refunds are at our discretion. If something goes wrong on our side — you were charged for a reply you never received, or a payment credited the wrong amount — tell us and we will put it right.
- Purchases made in the Android app are refunded by Google Play, not by us. Google is the seller for those purchases, so their refund process and timelines apply and we cannot refund them ourselves — email us anyway if something is wrong and we will help you sort it out. When Google refunds a purchase, we remove the credits it granted. If you have already spent them your balance can go below zero, and you will need to top up before sending another message.
- For website purchases, refunds are handled by email. There is no automated refund button.
5. Hirdfit Premium (subscription)
Hirdfit Premium is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks: unlimited route generation (free accounts get 3 route generations per calendar month), unlimited workout routines (free accounts can keep 3), the Progress screen (strength trends and personal records), and AI access for external assistants (below). It comes in two tiers:
- Premium Basic — all of the above. The AI coach stays pay-as-you-go with credits (section 4).
- Premium Plus — everything in Basic, plus 100 coach credits each month. This monthly allowance is reset to 100 at every grant — unused allowance credits do not accumulate or carry over, and the allowance ends when the subscription ends. Credits you bought as packages are unaffected and never expire.
Prices
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly |
|---|---|---|
| Premium Basic | USD 2.99 / 11,99 zł | USD 29.99 / 119,99 zł |
| Premium Plus | USD 4.99 / 19,99 zł | USD 49.99 / 199,99 zł |
These are introductory prices, available until further notice — not a discount against any earlier price; we have never charged more. Website subscriptions are charged in złoty for buyers in Poland and in US dollars everywhere else, chosen automatically from your device; the currency of a subscription is fixed when you first subscribe. In the Android app the subscription goes through Google Play, which is the seller of record and sets the price for your country's store — the price shown in the app at the moment of purchase is the one that applies.
Renewal and cancellation
- The subscription renews automatically — monthly or yearly, whichever you chose — until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the period you have paid for; you keep access until then. Website subscriptions are cancelled from the Premium screen ("Manage billing"); Google Play subscriptions are cancelled in Play's own subscription settings.
- To switch tier or interval, cancel the current plan and subscribe to the new one when the paid period ends. On Google Play you can also change plans directly in the Play interface where offered.
- If a renewal payment fails, we keep access open for a few days while the payment is retried; if it still fails, premium lapses until you subscribe again. Nothing is owed for the lapsed time.
- Your EU right of withdrawal. As a consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. The subscription is a digital service supplied immediately: by subscribing you ask us to start at once. If you withdraw within 14 days of the first purchase, we will refund the price less a proportionate amount for the days already supplied — email us. Google Play purchases are refunded by Google under its own process; when Google refunds or reverses a subscription payment, premium access ends immediately and any remaining monthly credit allowance is removed.
- If we discontinue Premium or remove a feature from it in a way that materially reduces what you paid for, we will give reasonable notice and refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
AI access for external assistants
Premium accounts can connect an external AI assistant, such as Claude, to their own Hirdfit data. The connection is read-only: an assistant can look up your workouts and measurements but can never change or delete anything. You can revoke a connected assistant at any time.
If you connect an external assistant, your data is subject to that assistant provider's own terms and privacy policy as well as ours.
6. Third-party integrations
Connecting Hevy, Strava, Health Connect or Apple Health is your choice, and each remains governed by its own terms. You are responsible for having the right to import that data. If a provider changes or withdraws its API, the corresponding Hirdfit feature may stop working. Disconnecting an integration stops future imports but does not remove data already imported — ask us if you want it removed.
7. Health and medical disclaimer
Hirdfit is not a medical device and we are not medical professionals. The app, its statistics and the AI coach provide general fitness information only. They do not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything, and they are not a substitute for advice from a doctor, physiotherapist, dietitian or other qualified professional.
Talk to a doctor before starting or significantly changing a training programme, especially if you have an existing condition, are pregnant, are taking medication, or are recovering from an injury. If you are in pain, injured or unwell, stop and seek medical help. Call your local emergency number in an emergency — the AI coach cannot help you.
You train at your own risk, and you are responsible for deciding what is safe for you.
The same applies to route planning: a route the app suggests has not been checked for traffic, surface, lighting or personal safety. Use your own judgement.
8. The AI coach can be wrong
The coach is an AI language model. It reads your training data and writes suggestions, and it can misread that data, miscalculate, or state something confidently that is simply incorrect. Treat its output as a starting point for your own thinking, not as instruction. We do not guarantee that anything it says is accurate, complete or suitable for you, and we are not liable for decisions you make on the strength of it.
Do not send the coach information you would not want processed by a third-party AI provider — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent and to whom.
9. Your data and content
Your training data is yours. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your data, display it back to you, and — when you use the coach or connect an assistant — pass the relevant parts to the providers named in the Privacy Policy. We claim no ownership of it and we do not use it to train models.
Two things here are written about you rather than given by you: the goals questionnaire is yours, but the notes the coach saves while you chat are generated by the AI. They are not facts we have verified, and the coach can misremember or overstate. You can read every note and delete any of them under Profile → What your coach remembers, and you should, if one is wrong.
The Hirdfit app, brand and code remain ours.
10. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intentional harm, or under mandatory consumer-protection rules.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost or corrupted data beyond our reasonable control, for injuries arising from your training, or for failures in third-party services we depend on. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Hirdfit at any time. To close your account, go to Profile → Your data → Delete account — deletion is immediate and we cannot undo it for you. Disaster-recovery copies of the database expire within 7 days, as described in the privacy policy. If you can no longer sign in, email privacy@hirdfit.com instead. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may discontinue the service — if we do, we will give reasonable notice and refund any unused credits.
Deleting your account forfeits any unused credits, so export your data and spend or claim a refund on your balance first. Deletion removes your training data; records we are legally required to keep, such as purchase records for tax purposes, are retained in pseudonymised form as described in the Privacy Policy and in how to delete your account.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top always shows the current version. For a material change, the app will ask you to accept the new version before you carry on using it. If you do not accept a change, stop using the service and ask for a refund of any unused credits — the same screen that asks you to accept also lets you export your data and delete your account.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your own country's courts. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform. We would much rather you just emailed us first.
